Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo have reacted to Marcus Rashford’s 100th goal for Manchester United.

The 24-year-old England striker registered his 100th goal for the club against West Ham United on Sunday.

Manchester United managed a 1-0 win over United on Sunday, with Rashford scoring the only goal of the match in the first half.

The England international has now become the 22nd player to score 100 goals for United.

Rooney, the all-time highest goalscorer at Old Trafford with 253, commented on the post made by the England star on social media, saying, “Class @marcusrashford. Loads more to come.”

Ronaldo, meanwhile, who has scored 145 goals for United, added a ‘congratulations’ with a clapping emoji.

 

Goalkeeper, David de Gea said the Englishman could be the best in the world, adding, “He’s doing great. I think he can be one of the best players in the world if he keeps focused and training hard, and performing well.

“I think he’s a very, very good player and we are happy that he’s with us and playing the way he’s playing.”
