Breaking New:Mykhailo Mudryk sends strong message to Chelsea owner after impressive EPL performance

Mykhailo Mudryk has sent a clear Chelsea message after scoring the goal that ultimately decided Monday’s Premier League clash against Newcastle at Stamford Bridge. The Ukraine international was named on the bench before he was introduced to the action by Mauricio Pochettino just after Cole Palmer had put the Blues back in front.

Nicolas Jackson scored the opening goal after getting a delicate touch on Palmer’s goal-bound shot however the game was level at half time with Alexander Isak on target from distance for the visitors. Palmer then got in on the action himself with a fizzing strike from the edge of the box before Mudryk gave Chelsea some breathing room.

After taking the ball off Conor Gallagher’s feet, the 23-year-old danced through the Newcastle defence and round the flailing arm of Martin Dubravka before passing into an open net. Jacob Murphy fired in a late consolation for the Magpies which meant Mudryk’s goal was decisive in Chelsea taking home three points.

“It was a very good goal, he scored a really good goal and that is what we expect from a player that came from the bench, an impact,” he said.

“Then it’s about to compete with different players in the position he can play and then deserve to play. It’s more of a question for him than for me.” After scoring his sixth goal of the season, Mudryk sent out a message of thanks to Chelsea supporters on Instagram.

In a video showing Stamford Bridge well after full-time, Mudryk wrote: “Big thanks fans for all your support, you help me get better [blue heart emoji].” Mudryk also made a post to the social media platform on Tuesday with a compilation of his bright 20-minute display that he captioned: “Just one more day at the office.

Chelsea are back in action this weekend with an FA Cup quarter-final against Leicester City on the agenda at Stamford Bridge. Mudryk started and scored in the previous round against Leeds United, with it therefore likely he is given another chance from the off where a win would see Chelsea return to Wembley for the second time this season.
