“He was the only one who really worked hard to win the game…others disappointed him”: Arsenal legend Thierry Henry names only ONE Chelsea player who really worked hard in all occasion

Arsenal icon Thierry Henry has singled Bukayo Saka out for praise ahead of Wednesday’s crucial Premier League clash against Manchester City.

The Gunners currently find themselves top of the league standings, three points ahead of second-placed City with a game in hand. However, Pep Guardiola’s side boasts a superior goal difference, meaning a win at the Emirates Stadium would put the reigning champions above the north Londoners for the first time since August – albeit having played a game more.

Ahead of the highly-anticipated match in north London, Arsenal legend Henry has lauded Hale End academy graduate Saka, claiming that his penalty miss during the Euro 2020 final has been the making of him as a player. Previewing the game on Amazon Prime, the Frenchman said:

“There’s so many players that I am actually looking forward to seeing in that game but I’m going to have to mention Bukayo Saka.

Why? Because the way he came back from the Euros, missing that penalty. He never looked back since and I just think that I just want the team to win and all of that but I want him to play well in that game.

“To play well up until the end of the season and to be that player that can decide games, do you understand what I mean? And I said it the other day I was on Amazon obviously doing the game against West Ham.

“I said ‘big players are not nice’. If you want to be big, if you want to be the guy, big players are not nice.”
