BREAKING NEWS: ‘Unless he leaves, nothing good will ever come to Chelsea’: Chelsea Legend LEGEND Torres issues strong warning to Pochettino to Offload £50m Star he bought during the Summer Transfer window.

Chelsea will be aiming to get right back to winning ways in just a few days against Blackburn Rovers in the Carabao Cup to build some momentum ahead of a London derby against Tottenham. Following their win over Crystal Palace, Spurs remained unbeaten in the Premier League and top of the table with Mauricio Pochettino hoping to end that on his return to north London.

After taking charge of the Blues in the summer, Pochettino will make his return to Spurs for the first time in nearly four years, with a hostile response expected. The Lilywhites have won all of their game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this season, while Pochettino has seen four losses for his side which presents a very difficult challenge for the west Londoners.

Elsewhere, ahead of the January transfer window, Chelsea target Victor Osimhen has provided a big update on his future which hints at him remaining at Napoli. While a new name has appeared on the winter window wish list in a surprising position given recent recruitment done by Chelsea.

Here are your Chelsea morning headlines on Monday, October 30.

Pochettino on Spurs return with Chelsea

Mauricio Pochettino has given an honest Tottenham verdict ahead of returning to his former club with Chelsea in the Premier League next Monday.

The Argentine enjoyed a fruitful four-and-a-half years in north London before he was dismissed in 2019 with the majority of Tottenham fans left heartbroken by his departure, however those feelings changed drastically earlier this year.

After weeks of interviews were held, Pochettino was appointed as the permanent successor to Graham Potter at Chelsea, tarnishing his legacy at Spurs in the eyes of some. With the Lilywhites also looking for a manager in the summer, annoyance at chairman Daniel Levy was high for not even contacting Pochettino about a sensational return and now Pochettino has delivered his latest verdict on his former club.

Chelsea and Mauricio Pochettino might’ve been handed a huge setback to their January transfer window plans as Victor Osimhen has spelt out his future plans at Napoli.

The Blues have been consistently linked to the star since the start of the summer transfer window but failed to bring the Serie A striker in leaving them with unexperienced duo Nicolas Jackson and Armando Broja to lead the line at the start of the season while Christopher Nkunku continues to recover from his preseason knee injury.

But despite all the rumours and the instruction aimed at Chelsea to go and get the Nigerian international, the star himself appears to have put a stop to those plans

Chelsea are keeping tabs on Bayer Leverkusen defender Edmond Tapsoba ahead of the two transfer windows in 2024, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.

In a new report on CaughtOffside, he also revealed that Trevoh Chalobah will be heading the other way after a mixed few months under the tenure of Pochettino.

“Chelsea are looking into a new centre-back signing because of the decision to sell Trevoh Chalobah in January,” Romano writes. “Chelsea will look at the opportunities in the January transfer window. One player to watch is Edmond Tapsoba.”
