“He has not done anything special, he doesn’t deserve any praise, arsenal will beat them if Mauricio Pochettino starts him on Saturday”- Former Chelsea defender William Gallas slams Chelsea who is ‘in trouble’ and told Pochettino to drop the player to Chelsea fielders team

I’m Sure We’ll See Goals”: William Gallas Previews Arsenal’s Trip To Chelsea.

William Gallas is expecting an open game with plenty of goals when two of his former clubs clash at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Arsenal will start the game nine points ahead of Chelsea in the Premier League but Gallas believes that the two sides will be more evenly matched on the pitch.

Chelsea will begin the weekend 11th in the EPL table after taking just 11 points from eight matches so far this season.

Meanwhile, the Gunners are unbeaten and sit second with 20 points following a tense 1-0 win over reigning champions Manchester City before the international break.

There were only three shots on target in Arsenal’s clash with City, but Gallas is anticipating a much more open and attacking contest at Stamford Bridge.

Gallas told FanNation Futbol this week: “I can see goals in the game between Chelsea and Arsenal.

“The Blues play much differently to the likes of Manchester City, and Arsenal seemed to be worried in the game against them last week. So did City. Neither of them wanted to make a mistake.

“It’ll be different against Chelsea, though, as the Blues need the points. I can see them attacking Arsenal and the Gunners can respond. I’m sure we’ll see goals.”

When pressed for a score prediction, Gallas replied: “Let’s go for the 2-2. Fans always want to see goals in these London derbies, and a result of 2-2 will be perfect.”

Gallas made 225 Premier League appearances for Chelsea before moving to Arsenal in 2006. He then featured in 142 EPL games for the Gunners.

Arsenal will be hunting a fourth straight win over Chelsea on Saturday, having won the previous three meetings 3-1, 1-0 and 4-2.

Saturday’s game will be the 63rd time that these two London rivals have met in Premier League history.

Arsenal have won 25 of the first 62 meetings, Chelsea have been victorious 20 times and there have been 17 draws.
