Big injury blow for Mauricio Pochettino as Chelsea main man who is set to terrorize Arsenal defense is now injured, big opportunity for Arteta now

Chelsea confirm £50m star has suffered another injury setback, he is still yet to play this season

Chelsea have confirmed that defender Trevoh Chalobah has suffered yet another injury setback in his bid for recovery.

They announced on their official website that he would be joining Carney Chukwuemeka back on the treatment table after they had both approached a return to action.

Chalobah is yet to feature for the Blues this season, meaning he has been unable to prove his worth to new manager Mauricio Pochettino.

This has so far seemingly resulted in him being surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge, with plenty of efforts made to sell him over the last transfer window.

He was close to a move to Bayern Munich over the summer, however they were not interested in a move for the £50m fee Chelsea were holding out for originally.

Chalobah injury setback
Despite still being at the club for now, it doesn’t look as if his prospects have got any brighter since.

You only need to look at the impressive performances from Axel Disasi in his position since he joined to note just how far down the pecking order the Englishman is right now.

Despite likely not rushing back into the first team, he will not even have the opportunity yet after it has been revealed he has suffered an injury setback on his road to recovery.

While of course not being available for selection is an issue on the pitch, for Chelsea they may be about to feel it off it too.

His value in the transfer market will be dropping every week he is not available for selection, and this will hurt if they are looking to sell the academy graduate when the window opens again.
