BREAKING NEWS: PSG Super Star Kylian Mbappe has officially named 3 the Premier League club he wants to join now if his contract expires next season.

The News all Arsenal Fans want to hear 😊, This is such a random move! 😱

Arsenal and Chelsea have been handed a
major twist in the Kylian Mbappe saga as the forward has discussed the possibility of a compensation package for PSG when he leaves the club.

It comes after a saga that has spanned many years involving the French forward, who has been continuously linked with a move away from the Parc des Princes. That appeared to be solved last summer with the signing of a new contract until 2025, but it turned out that one of those years was down to the player’s decision to trigger the extension.

When it was revealed this summer that the 24-year-old had decided against making such a move, the PSG hierarchy quickly made some bold decisions. The first was an ultimatum of signing a new contract or letting him leave this summer, as to avoid losing a world class player on a free transfer.

With no deal agreed, Mbappe was exiled to work with a host of other players that weren’t part of the club’s plans and meant links appeared over his next club. Naturally Real Madrid were a name touted, while Arsenal and Chelsea were spoken about as possible destinations too.

However, yet another twist was in store as the World Cup winner made his return to the PSG side in the past week and scored against Toulouse in a 1-1 draw. In his celebrations, he shouted: “I am staying here,” potentially indicating his decision ahead in regards to a new contract.

The reintegration of Mbappe may be down to a new deal agreed with PSG as The Times reports that the French champions are likely to be financially compensated if the player makes a move away. The agreement will see the club recoup some of the £150million contract he currently has for the final year, not leaving them with nothing should he leave on a free.

With that in mind, the report adds that a contract extension could be on the way anyway, tying him down to a longer stay with the Ligue 1 champions. How that will impact those clubs showing interest in him remains to be seen, as it would likely hike his transfer price alone beyond an attainable level, before even factoring in the wages and signing on bonuses.
