Manchester United have been after Sofyan Amrabat for months, they have had terms agreed with him for weeks and have recently tabled a ridiculous offer to sign him.

Not surprisingly, the bid was turned down by Fiorentina, who remain firm in their stance.

Earlier this month, Alfredo Pedulla revealed that the Moroccan international has agreed a contract worth 4.5 million euros per season with the Red Devils.

The Italian journalist claimed the player is only waiting for the Old Trafford club and will not consider other options until they give up on signing him.

He stated the deal will drag on until the final days of the transfer window and the Viola are asking for a fee of 25 million euros.

However, instead of meeting the relatively low asking price for arguably the best midfielder at the FIFA World Cup, Man Utd have tried their luck with a loan offer.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Man United and Turkish champions, Galatasaray, moved in with loan bids to lure Amrabat, who has not played for a single minute this season.

However, Fiorentina have turned all the bids down and are holding firm even though they are aware the 27-year-old will be out of contract in less than a year.

After splashing way more than 50 million euros on each of Onana, Mount and Hojound, Man Utd do not have the 25 million euros for Amrabat and came up with a ridiculous loan offer.

It must be remembered that the 20-time English champions even rejected a bid worth £30million for an unwanted player like McTominay

The situation is desperate at Old Trafford with Mason Mount out injured for weeks and that makes the offer for the Atlas Lions star even more ridiculous.
