Arsenal are set for a busy final week of the summer transfer window.
Emile Smith Rowe has been linked with a shock move to Chelsea after failing to feature in the Gunners’ opening three Premier League fixtures. The 23-year-old struggled with injury problems last term and has been unable to force his way into Mikel Arteta’s plans this season.
Kieran Tierney’s loan move to Real Sociedad was confirmed last night and additional outgoings are expected, with young striker Folarin Balogun set to join Ligue 1 outfit Monaco on a permanent basis. Gabriel Magalhaes has also been linked with a move away but the Brazilian centre-back is expected to stay in north London.
It remains to be seen if Arsenal will target another signing before the window closes, having already spent over £200million to recruit Declan Rice, Jurrien Timber and Kai Havertz on permanent deals whilst David Raya arrived on loan with an option to buy.
