Many Terrorists Killed In Katsina As Police Recovers AK-47, Motorcycles

Operatives of Nigerian police have reportedly killed scores of terrorists who were preparing to launch attack against the residents of Sabuwa Local Government Area of Katsina State on Wednesday.

According Vanguardngr.com, over 30 terrorists were sighted as they were riding on motorcycles and armed with AK-47 Rifles on Wednesday afternoon. They were said to have blocked the busy Sabuwa – Mararabar Yakawada road in preparation to rob and kidnap residents in the area. The police acted immediately and foiled the evil plot.

The Terrorists were said to have engaged the police operatives in fierce gun duel. Several of the terrorists were reportedly killed while some managed to escaped with Gunshots wounds during the fire exchanges.

Katsina Police Spokesman, SP Gambo Isah has disclosed that One AK-47 and 4 operational vehicles used by the terrorists were recovered from the scene of the attack.

He enjoyed the residents to continue to provide useful security information to the security agencies.
