Mykhailo Mudryk declared his “love” for Chelsea fans after an impressive display in his team’s Premier League victory over Brighton.

The Ukrainian started the match at Stamford Bridge and won a penalty after being brought down by James Milner just after the hour mark. It was a key moment in the match as Chelsea were down to ten men and only held a one-goal advantage at that moment.

“It’s a great result for us but it was a very nervous last ten to fifteen minutes. When you have an additional time of ten minutes, it’s always hard.

“When you play ten against eleven, it’s always tough. But I’m very proud of our team today and it’s a great three points for us.”
