Mauricio Pochettino has opened up on not including Mykhailo Mudryk in the starting XI in recent Chelsea games, saying that the younger players need to feel the sting of being dropped to the bench.

“It’s part of the evolution and development,” said Pochettino when asked about his lack of involvement from the start of games.
“I think that you need to feel sometimes the pain when they don’t play, young guys also, because it’s always so easy and it’s difficult to grow, be more mature and find out how to improve.
