Social Media football account ‘The Secret Scout’ has now claimed that Chelsea are close to completing a deal to sign another youngster this month.

He took to Twitter to state that the Blues are closing in on the signing of striker Milos Lukovic from Serbian side IMT.

Lukovic has hit his stride this season, notching up 10 goals in just 19 games in the league this season.

This is despite the fact that he is just 18 years of age, and is already drawing attraction out of some big clubs.

Chelsea are obviously never going to miss a trick when it comes to some of the young stars who are already showing immense potential.

With an extensive loan network already in full force, they have looked to bring in plenty of players before fellow elite sides have had the chance.

This has included the likes of Kendry Paez, who has already established himself as a regular for the national team of Ecuador.

Now, The Secret Scout has claimed that they are close to agreeing a deal for Lukovic, who will as a result quickly be on the move to feeder club Strasbourg.

He said: “Boom! Chelsea trying to complete a deal for 18-year-old striker Milos Lukovic, who will then head straight to Strasbourg.

“Chelsea’s recruitment team flew to Serbia to meet the owner. The club rejected an initial 4M as they want a % sell on fee. Lukovic, has scored 10 goals in 19 Championship matches.”

He is likely not to be the only striking addition in the next couple of transfer windows if he joins.

It has been widely reported that they are looking to bring in a top-level striker to solve their goalscoring problems, with Victor Osimhen often touted as the number one target.
