BREAKING NEWS: Done and sealed deal Italian renowned sport journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that an agreement has been reached between Chelsea Football Club and England international magnificent striker. The club has agreed to pay £80 million to acquire the 24-year-old striker.

I can confirm that This deal is 90% going to happen as both parties are at the final stage of the deal

Kylian Mbappe faces an increasingly uncertain future at Paris Saint-Germain, with his contract in the French capital set to expire at the end of the season. In the summer, Nasser Al-Khelaifi revealed that the 24-year-old forward had two-weeks to sign a new deal in the French capital otherwise he would be sold.

However, he didn’t sign an extension and he wasn’t moved on. So, as it stands, foreign clubs will be eligible to begin pre-contract talks with Mbappe over a free transfer in the summer from January unless he suddenly decides to put pen to paper.

If the France international decides against signing a new deal then PSG must decide whether they’d rather risk losing him for free at the end of the season or cut their losses and cash-in in the upcoming January transfer window. So, with that being said, football.london have taken a look at the latest news regarding Mbappe and a potential move to the Premier League.

Mbappe remains coy
With Kylian Mbappe keeping his options open ahead of the January transfer window, the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Real Madrid have been mooted as a potential destination. In an interview with French publication Telefoot, as quoted by GFNF, he remained tight-lipped on his future.

“It’s something I don’t want to talk about,” said Mbappe. “Especially since I already did it in June and it took up a big part of the international break. I want us to talk more about the national team, rather than me talking about something that will be resolved one day, so there will be time to talk about that.”

Contract demands
Kylian Mbappe has outlined his contract demands amid links with Chelsea and Arsenal ahead of the summer transfer window. According to a report from AS, via SportWitness, Mbappe is asking for a salary of €35million (£30.5million) after tax as well as a signing bonus of roughly €100million (£87million).

Huge Real Madrid twist
Real Madrid may not be able to land PSG superstar Kylian Mbappe in the coming summer transfer window, despite being favourites to make the move. That’s according to the Telegraph, which claims that Los Blancos are facing some financial difficulties which may prevent a deal.

Real Madrid announcement
Real Madrid have sent out a statement on the situation surrounding Mbappe and any potential talks. The announcement reads: “Given information in the media about negotiations between the player Kylian Mbappe and our club, Real Madrid state that this information is categorically false. Negotiations have not taken place with a player who belongs to PSG.”

Chelsea and Liverpool plan
Chelsea and Liverpool intend to try their luck for Kylian Mbappe this winter, according to Italian publication La Gazzetta dello Sport, as quoted by French outlet Le 10 Sport. The report states that the two Premier League clubs are ready to offer him ‘extremely important contracts’.

Alternative eyed
Real Madrid, who are widely considered favourites to sign Mbappe, are interested in signing Manchester City’s Julian Alvarez, according to tycsports.

It is claimed that the Spanish giants have identified Alvarez as a potential alternative to the PSG superstar in case he doesn’t end up at the Bernabeu Stadium next summer.

Contract agreement
Kylian Mbappe is ready to give up on a huge loyalty bonus in his Paris Saint-Germain contract, but he has again made clear to the club that he won’t sign a new deal, according to 90min. PSG have continued their push for Mbappe to sign a new deal, potentially including a release clause that would allow his future departure for a set fee – but that is not believed to be under consideration.

Mbappe has agreed to waive an €80million (£68m) bonus that he is due over the course of this season, which would actually mean a saving of €100million (£85m) for PSG.

Liverpool twist
Kylian Mbappe would reportedly be open to the idea of joining Liverpool next summer. The PSG forward has continued to be linked with a move to Merseyside in the last few years and has come close to leaving his current employers on more than one occasion.

A fresh update on the future of the French star by L’Equipe via GFFN has stated Liverpool remains an option for Mbappe and that the player could be tempted should a bid be made by the Reds.

Liverpool may well have the funds required to launch a bid of this nature next summer if Jurgen Klopp’s side were to cash in on Mohamed Salah, who remains a target for Saudi Arabian sides. Matching Mbappe’s wage demands would likely prove a tall order, however.

Talks held
PSG president Nasser Al Khelaifi has told RMCSport that talks have been held with Kylian Mbappe and his family over his future, but he was coy when asked about a new contract. He told the media on Thursday afternoon: “We have had very good discussions with Kylian.

“He’s a magnificent player, as a person and as a professional. We’ve had discussions with the rest of his family. New deal? I don’t want to talk about that. Mbappe is a PSG player.”

PSG plan
PSG may have found their replacement for star man Kylian Mbappe as they continue to step up a move for Eintracht Frankfurt forward Randal Kolo Muani in the final week of the transfer window. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Ligue 1 outfit are confident on reaching an agreement over a deal, with talks set to continue.

Real Madrid boost
Real boss Carlo Ancelotti has given the rest of Europe a boost in the race for Kylian Mbappe this summer. The Italian has confirmed that the Spanish giants are not in the market for any other players right now.

“No, I rule that out, 100% no,” he said on any new signings. “It’s over, I discard any new signing before market closes – the squad is closed.”

Man United bid
Manchester United could make a move for Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe should Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani complete his takeover of the club.

Spanish outlet El Nacional have claimed that United are keen on making the PSG forward their ‘franchise player’, a transfer that would fit Sheikh Jassim’s ambitions of returning the club “to it’s former glories both on and off the pitch.”

PSG decision
The PSG squad have decided against naming Kylian Mbappe their new club captain after voting for their choice for the new season. That’s according to AS, which reports that Marquinhos has been selected to retain the armband, despite Mbappe being in the running to hold it.

The Frenchman is believed to have ambitions to become a leader with the captaincy one day and it remains to be seen how the decision may impact his future.
