Chelsea fans will laugh after what Mykhailo Mudryk did to Jorginho on international duty last night

Chelsea supporters will have certainly got a laugh from what one of their current stars did to one of their former ones last night.

The international break threw up a Matchday 10 fixture between Italy and Ukraine, where the victor would qualify automatically for next summer’s European Championship.

Mykhailo Mudryk took a lot of the responsibility for the creativity for his country on his back, however the verdict from Italian media was that his performance did not live up to expectations.

However, he did seem to be robbed of a clear penalty when he was wiped out in the final minutes. The decision could well cost his country a place at the upcoming tournament.

Mudryk was a teammate of Jorginho at Stamford Bridge for just a few weeks, with him actually coming up against him more often since he joined his new side, Arsenal.

In a battle between the duo on the left wing last night, there was only going to be one winner.

Mudryk leaves Jorginho on the floor
The 22-year-old sped past the former Blue, with him falling to the floor in his attempts to stop him.

The Italy international was never known for his pace. Meanwhile, it has been listed as Mudryk’s strongest attribute since he arrived in England.

The winger will be hoping he is able to break back into Mauricio Pochettino’s starting side when the Premier League returns this weekend.

The Blues travel to face Newcastle, with Mudryk now three games without a start off the back of a minor injury.

He had begun to look like the player Chelsea had spent a lot of money on this season with some impressive displays, as well as his first couple of goals for the club.
