‘A close game. I’ll go with…’: Agbonlahor predicts Tottenham vs Chelsea match
Former Aston Villa forward, Gabby Agbonlahor has predicted Monday night’s Premier League clash between Chelsea and Tottenham.
Spurs will host the Blues at the Tottenham Stadium for the first time this season.
The home team have started the season brightly under their new manager, Ange Potescoglu, and remain unbeaten after 10 games.
The Blues are in 11th place on the table, despite making some progress under Mauricio Pochettino, who was only appointed permanent manager over the summer.
Asked for his prediction of Monday’s game between both teams, Agbonlahor told talkSPORT: “It’s a big game. Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea. It’s a hard one to choose.
“Chelsea look better and more organised under Pochettino. But Spurs at home, they’ve turned their home form around and looking a threat. I’ve got to go with a Spurs win… A close game. I’m going to go 2-1.”
