“He’s a player with amazing qualities, but Pochettino is yet to discover him, i need him at AC Milan by January”- AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli reveals he’s seriously keen on signing exceptional €20M Chelsea star who was firm for Pochettino this season

The AC Milan manager wanted to sign Chelsea right back James in January transfer window

AC Milan have started the season very well with three wins in three games and the new signings have impressed. Stefano Pioli made his requests clear and the management respected them, as a journalist highlights.

Gorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada worked closely with Pioli to bring in the right players this summer. A total of 10 players arrived after the Rossoneri said goodbye to 14, who were deemed surplus to requirements.

As highlighted by the Sky Italia journalist Fabio Caressa (via SempreMilan.it), Pioli made his requests clear from the start. Most importantly, he got no push-back from the management, who instead got to work on his wishes.

“If Pioli outlined some characteristics that he wanted for the new players, these characteristics were respected by the management. We have seen this because Pioli, who got them early as well, managed to build a very specific team idea before the league rivals,” he stated.

Pioli got what he wanted and the new signings have been able to quickly acclimatise to the Rossoneri’s style of play. Perhaps because they were perfect for the roles, which is the main perk of the management and Pioli working together on the mercato.
