Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino has tipped Tottenham Hotspur to challenge Premier League champions Manchester City and Arsenal for a title this season.

Pochettinho made this known ahead of Chelsea’s game vs Tottenham on Monday.

The Blues manager said he is “so happy” for Ange Postecoglou’s great start to life at his former club.

It is also a special game for Pochettino as it will be his first return to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since he was sacked in 2019.

When asked whether he thought the North London club were title contenders, Pochettino said “yes” during a press conference on Friday.

On Tottenham’s start to the season, he added: “I’m so happy for him and the club to be doing really well. We cannot forget all that happened there. It’s normal that we are very positive and grateful people.

“When people are doing well at the club I have been at, we keep these links and always we are happy when the club does well.”
