‘if you can start him there will be multiple goals’ – Ben Foster predicts the result of Tottenham vs Chelsea

‘I’m going’: Ben Foster now predicts the result of Tottenham vs Chelsea

Ben Foster has now predicted the result of next week’s game between Tottenham and Chelsea.

Spurs host Chelsea on Monday night in the Premier League, which is a contest that the visitors will start as underdogs in.

Reformed under Ange Postecoglou’s management, Spurs currently sit top of the league table and playing some attractive football. There’s been some early shouts from neutrals that they could even be genuine title contenders this season.

As for Chelsea, they also made a change of management in the summer when they appointed Mauricio Pochettino. The Blues head coach is still trying to make everything work for a side that sit 11th in the league going into the weekend.

It’s going to be an intriguing return to Spurs for Pochettino, who enjoyed five years as their manager.

Now, he’s in the away dugout and in charge of close rivals Chelsea.

Ben Foster has made his weekly prediction ahead of the upcoming London derby, tipping Spurs to beat Chelsea.

He told the That’s Football YouTube channel: “I’m going to go Spurs [win]. I just think Chelsea are so inconsistent and so childlike at times. I think Spurs have too much pressure and too much press, and they’ll keep catching Chelsea out.”

The away form
Chelsea’s struggles at Stamford Bridge in home games has been well documented, winning just one of their previous 13 league fixtures.

However, they’ve fared a lot better on the road, which is an indicator that they’re better when teams attack them.

The Blues have only played four away matches so far in the league season, but they’ve collected a healthy seven points in return. This included wins at Burnley and Fulham, plus a draw at Bournemouth. They did lose at West Ham back in August, though

A piece of good news ahead of the Spurs game is that Mykhailo Mudryk is a potential returnee to the side. Chelsea announced via their official website earlier today that Mudryk has been in ‘full team training’ ahead of Monday.
