Chelsea fans were left seriously impressed by former youth prodigy Jamal Musiala’s performance for Bayern Munich against Manchester United in the Champions League. The German playmaker left the Blues aged 16 back in 2019 to join Bayern and has become one of the most talented midfielders in Europe.
Now, four years later, Musiala is continuing to showcase his talent in the biggest matches – his latest stunning display coming against United in the Champions League. The 20-year-old registered a stunning assist in the 4-3 win against Erik ten Hag’s side but ran United ragged throughout the match at the Allianz Arena.
He’s now a fully fledged German international after choosing to represent them at senior level – Musiala played for England Under 15, 16, 17 and 21s but also featured for Germany in his youth development as well – and has more than 120 senior appearances to his name aged just 20. Last season in the Bundesliga he was one of just two players to get into double figures for both goals and assists, only Randal Kolo Muani had more contributions than him with 26.
