The spirits among the Arsenal camp couldn’t have been much higher heading into the international break following their dramatic win over Manchester City. Mikel Arteta though is keen to make sure his team don’t now rest on their laurels.

“It’s the last experience that we had and that feeling we had between us was a beautiful one,” he said in his pre-match press conference. “You could sense in the atmosphere the importance of the game and the way we competed as a team. But it’s just a game. Now it’s about having the consistency and keeping standards very high because the next game against Chelsea is going to be even harder”

Keeping that momentum up will not be as easy as it seems in what is a potential banana skin this weekend. Chelsea may not be at their very best, but Mauricio Pochettino’s side are more than capable of springing an upset on Saturday. As a result it’s crucial that Arteta gets his team selection spot on. Here takes a look at who he might pick for the trip to Stamford Bridge.
