Here is a roundup of the top Arsenal news and gossip that we think you guys may have missed over the past 24 hours guys.

Arsenal summer signing Kai Havertz will win over the club’s supporters, insists Gunners boss Mikel Arteta.

ARSENAL made the shock decision to bring the former Chelsea star to the Emirates in a deal worth £65 million – after the decision was made that he would no longer be part of the Blues future.

He featured in the 1-0 win over Crystal Palace last weekend and has been criticized for running down time, and during the game against Fulham this weekend – many Arsenal fans didn’t even know he was on the pitch.

One pass back to Declan Rice when the German had acres of space to run into earnt him groans from Gunners fans, and many pundits have come out and claimed that he is not good enough for the club.

However – Arteta believes this is just due to high standards from the Emirates faithful.

WHAT HAS BEEN SAID –

Arteta was quoted on TalkSport:“No, I saw an action when he played backwards and he could have turned. That’s more I think the demands of everybody to play forward and to impact the game in the final third because we had the urgency to win.”

Asked if he thought Havertz would win fans over, he added: “Yes I think so. I think he’s done already really good things. Today it was tough in certain moments.

He got in great areas and the ball didn’t arrive. In a lot of situations he should have scored a lot of goals already this season. That’s the thing that is missing there.

Look, we cannot see where Havertz is meant to fit in on a weekly basis at the Emirates because once everyone is fully fit – he will be sitting on the bench.

We can see why ARSENAL signed the man as he does have quality – we are just not sure that the Premier League is the best place for him.

TIERNEY DEAL DONE –

Arsenal have confirmed and announced that Kieran Tierney has joined Real Sociedad on loan for the next 12 months.

A few seasons ago – Tierney was a player that the fans loved and that Mikel Arteta really relied on – but injuries have really ruined his time at the Emirates and he has really struggled for game time.

That has led to constant speculation in the media that he is one player that will be leaving the club – with the likes of West Ham and Newcastle two clubs that are interested in a possible deal.

The speculation has continued over the summer regarding the future with Tierney – but after the injury to Jurrien Timber – it was believed that he would be given more of a chance to prove himself in the side.

However – that is not the case and now ARSENAL have confirmed that they have allowed Tierney to depart the club on loan for the season.

WHAT HAS BEEN SAID –

Arsenal posted on the club website: ‘Before joining us, Kieran enjoyed huge success at boyhood club Celtic, winning four league titles, two Scottish FA Cups and two Scottish League Cups in a four-year spell after making his debut as a 17-year-old. He was named PFA Scotland Young Player of Year for three consecutive seasons in 2016, 2017 and 2018.

‘Kieran is a regular with the Scotland national team and currently has 39 international caps for his country.

‘Everyone at Arsenal wishes Kieran all the best this coming season with Real Sociedad.

‘The loan deal is subject to the completion of regulatory processes.’

Tierney is actually a player that ARSENAL fans love for his work ethic – he literally gives everything and that is why he has picked up so many injuries.

But La Liga is a great place to go and reignite your career – this is a very good move for the man to make.

TAHID WANTS MOVE –

Canadian wonderkid T.J.Tahid is targeting a transfer to Arsenal inside five years.

At just 16 years old, Tahid has already set a handful of records as he begins his professional soccer career at a stadium just a short car ride away from where he grew up.

Tahid joined Vancouver FC having last played for VanCity Pro Football Academy, which was founded by his father in 2018. and he has dreams to be playing at the very highest level in just five years.

Tahid has told The Globe and Mail of wanting to head for north London at some stage – with Germany and Spain also on his career wish list: “My five-year plan is to be at a team like ARSENAL , but I’d also consider Real Madrid or Borussia Dortmund.”

It is nice to see that a talented young man like Tahid has big dreams to play for Arsenal one day – and maybe he will be able to achieve those dreams if he works hard enough in the coming years.

Arsenal have a history of signing talented young players and then giving them a chance in the side – so if Tahid is on the scouting list of ARSENAL, they will be keeping a very close eye on his development in the coming seasons.

There are big hopes for the Canadian lad – but he needs to make sure that all the instant success that he is having does not go to his head – or he will never make it to the level that he dreams of.
