Arsenal fans are running out of patience as the club keep them waiting for an announcement after reports that they have agreed to sign Declan Rice for £105 million.

West Ham United are becoming increasingly frustrated about the delay, reports the Sky Sports.

The deal was agreed more than a week ago but it has not been signed yet as the Hammers are still waiting to sign the contracts.

Arsenal and their legal team are examining the details of the deal, and The Athletic journalist David Ornstein and Fabrizio Romano have shared positive updates.

“My understanding is everything is pretty much done and dusted,” Ornstein said last night on Back Pages Tonight on Sky Sports News.

“For Arsenal fans there is nothing to be concerned about.

“The Gunners are committing a record fee of £100m plus £5m in add-ons.

“Of course, they still needed to agree the payment structure, which got done, and the announcement can take time with a deal of this magnitude.

“There is a lot to work through on various sides of the deal but to my knowledge, it is on track, they will get the final stages done and everyone will get this announcement they have all been waiting for in due course.”

Romano was also confident of the deal getting announced soon while he provided transfer updates on his personal YouTube account last night.

“I said ‘Here We Go’ for Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber and I do not change my position,” the Italian said.

“I saw some rumors again today, but guys, I am told that it is just a matter of an announcement. This remains very clear.

“Arsenal have everything ready for those two deals. So let us wait and see when Arsenal will unveil their new signings.”

He went ahead to react thus on Twitter as a fan related the info to Gunners supporters.

Rice is keeping fit in Portugal ahead of the move and Arsenal would hope to announce him before they travel for their US pre-season tour on Sunday.

They are currently in Germany training and will play their first pre-season friendly against Nurnberg on Thursday.

While many fans fear that the deal for the England international midfielder could collapse, they have nothing to worry about as Arsenal want to make sure everything is sorted before making an announcement.

Nevertheless, only a picture of Rice putting on their jersey and posts from the club’s official website and social media accounts will calm the eager supporters down at this point in time.
