President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday played host to his predecessor, Goodluck Jonathan at the Presidential Villa Abuja, where he reiterated Nigeria’s commitment to promoting peace and harmony among ECOWAS countries. The former President, Dr Goodluck Jonathan, was at the State House to brief Buhari on the face-off between Mali and Cote D’Ivoire over detained Ivorian soldiers.
Bandits Fell Into Troops Ambush In Kaduna
The Kaduna State government, said troops of the Nigerian Army have frustrated some bandits along Kaduna-Zaria road and neutralised two of them. The Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, confirmed the development in a statement issued on Wednesday in Kaduna.

Panel Presents Report On Imo Mayhem To Uzodinma
Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has received the report of the Commission of Inquiry into the mayhem which occurred at Izombe, Oguta council area of the state, in October 2021. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that the incident resulted in the death of at least three persons and the burning of many houses.
