Popular Nollywood actor, Chimezie Leonard Onyemachi popularly called Leo Mezie has died from complications arising from Kidney disease.
The 46 year old actor died in Abuja on Saturday May 14th after developing complications after a Kidney transplant.
His death has been confirmed by a colleague and fellow thespian, Chioma Toplis. She wrote on Social media;
“Actor Leo Mezie is dead. He died on Saturday in Abuja while recovering from a kidney transplant. His corpse has been moved to Umuahia his hometown. RIP Leo.”
The late Mezie began his acting career in 1996 and is survived by a wife.
