Journalist Rahman Osman has claimed that Chelsea owner Behdad Eghbali entered the Chelsea dressing room after today’s defeat in the Premier League.

He took to Twitter to state that one half of the ownership duo was keen to get amongst the players after what will go down as another dark day at Stamford Bridge.

It was the same old story as far as Chelsea and Mauricio Pochettino are concerned today as the Blues were defeated again at Stamford Bridge.

An Ollie Watkins goal in the second half was the difference between the two sides, and their misery was already well underway before that ball hit the net.

Malo Gusto, who up until now had impressed in the absence of Reece James, picked up a red card to leave them an uphill battle in the second half.

The Blues could not hold on with the man disadvantage and their record moved to just one win from the opening six games of the Premier League season.

Eghbali entered the Chelsea dressing room
Boos rang out at both half-time and full-time from the Stamford Bridge faithful, whose patience is certainly being tested over the last 12 months or so.

The patience of the owners is also being put to the test, with Todd Boehly usually being the fall guy when it comes to the media.

However, he was not in attendance today, with Osman claiming Eghbali went alone into the dressing room after the game came to a close.

He said: “Behdad Eghbali just went into the dressing room, Boehly not here today.”

It remains to be seen how patient the owners are prepared to be with Pochettino, who has certainly not got off to the flying start many will have been hoping for.
