Gabriel Jesus has just undergone successful arthroscopic knee surgery.

Doctors cleaned up completely through the above treatment after suspecting that loose fragments remaining in the section was causing the Brazilian striker to feel pain and needed to be resolved as quickly as possible.

There is no specific schedule, but it is estimated that recovery time will be around 6 weeks (a month and a half ). Jesus will miss some important matches with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur.

Our relatively comfortable early-season schedule makes his absence unlikely to significantly affect the strength of the team as Eddie Nketiah and Leandro Trossard can both fill the role and fully be able to contribute while Jesus is adsent.

Get well soon, Jesus.💪
