Real Madrid have had a number of key players exit the club this summer, which leaves Los Blancos in massive need for reinforcements for the coming season. They must fill the holes in the squad left behind by players leaving or else, they could be heading towards a very difficult 2023/24 campaign.

After the confirmations of the departures of Karim Benzema and Marco Asensio, Real Madrid are lacking going forward. Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo are currently the only two players at the club who can be relied upon to score consistently and the Brazilian duo will clearly need some help next season.

There are many young strikers who could potentially be available this summer and Real Madrid must keep their eyes open to find Benzema’s replacement. And it looks like Los Blancos could be eyeing another French international.

As reported by Sport Bild, Real Madrid have joined the race to sign Randal Kolo Muani. PSG, Bayern Munich, Manchester United and Chelsea are also involved.

Real Madrid eyeing €100 million French international

The 24-year-old striker has impressed many across Europe this season, with his performances for both Eintracht Frankfurt and the French national team. And he looks set for a big move this summer, even though the destination remains uncertain.

According to stats from Transfermarkt, Kolo Muani scored 23 goals and provided 17 assists across all competitions in the 2022/23 season.

He was also a part of the French team that reached the final of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. But ultimately, they lost to Argentina.

Kolo Muani is one of the most promising young strikers in Europe and would be a fantastic signing for Real Madrid. However, the club faces stiff competition for his signature. Eintracht Frankfurt are believed to be looking for a transfer fee around €100 million as well. Thus, it might be difficult for Los Blancos to pull a move off.
