Troops Kill Bandits Who Attacked NDA
Troops of the Nigerian army have announced that they have killed the bandits responsible for the attack of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA). Although the army said that Boderi Isiya who is notorious for his banditry narrowly escaped their wrath but his second in command and other fighters were gunned down. The Commissioner for the Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs, Kaduna State whose name is Samuel Aruwan said that the security agencies informed the Government of Kaduna state about the success of the operation. Boderi and his group had a bad day in the hands of troops.
The troops fought the bandits in Chikun LGA, after the bandits saw that they had lost the battle, they immediately retreated only to encounter another ambush by the Nigerian army as they were waiting for them at Sabon Gida general area. The troops successfully subdued them. The Nigerian army recovered the weapons they used including their corpses, some of them died of bullet wounds.
