A Special Assistant to Governor Ifeanyi Okowa, Samson Nwachukwu is currently trending on social media after he was assaulted by an officer of the Nigerian Customs on Benin/Agbor expressway on Saturday.
POLITICS NIGERIA learnt that Nwachukwu was driving with a friend when he was stopped by two customs officers and a soldier.
An argument ensued between and although it’s currently unclear what caused it, the customs officer proceeded to slap Nwachukwu.
The incident has been widely condemned by Nigerians who have demanded an immediate investigation and arrest of the erring officers.
