Arsenal legend, Ian Wright has blamed Chelsea defender, Marc Cucurella, for the Blues’ 1-0 defeat to the Gunners in the Premier League on Sunday.
Gabriel’s tap-in from Bukayo Saka’s dangerous corner was all the Gunners needed to beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and return to the top of the Premier League table.
Arsenal dominated the majority of the game and were always a threat going forward before breaking the deadlock.
Cucurella could be seen standing just behind an Arsenal player and could not move his feet while Saka’s cross travelled all the way.
What was Cucurella doing there? He just stood there looking while the ball goes through his face. This is individual error,” Wright said on Premier League Productions.
