Dogara Tackles The APC For Running A Muslim-Muslim Ticket

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has come under fire from the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yakubu Dogara, who claims the adoption of the Muslim-Muslim Ticket by the ruling party will fail. This was stated on Tuesday in Abuja by the fourth-term lawmaker for the Bogoro/Dass/Tafawa Balewa Federal Consistuency of Bauchi State, who was giving the keynote lecture at the Nigeria National Christian Coalition’s “Meet The Church” summit.

The Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) and numerous other Christian organizations have warned against the APC choosing Senator Kashim Shettima, a former governor of Borno State, as its vice presidential candidate. Additionally, Dogara urged Christians to resisted the urge to cast useless ballots in the next 2023 General Elections.

To show that the church is correct, it is not the only organization denouncing the same faith ticket. The APC Presidential Candidate not only disregarded these warnings but also dismissed them in one fell swoop. The same sentiment has been expressed by several well-known Muslim leaders and clerics, according to Dogara.
