Buhari Arrives Imo State To Commission Projects

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari arrived in Imo State on Tuesday, 13th September to commission some projects completed by Governor Hope Uzodimma.

President Buhari arrived through the Same Mbakweb Cargo Airport and was received by the Governor and some of his entourage. According to information obtained from Instablog9ja, it was said the President came to commission the newly constructed Okigwe and Orlu roads as well, the rehabilitated House of Assembly Complex in Owerri and some other projects.

The visit of the President came as a surprise to some people because there is a sit-at-home order in the Southeastern part of the country by the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB). The sit at home order was started since the leader of IPOB (Nnamdi Kanu) was captured in 2021.

The sit at home order is usually observed on Mondays and any day Nnamdi Kanu appears in court.
