The hearing of an appeal filed by the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) against the Nigerian Government will now hold on September 13, 2022.The appeal is marked CA/ABJ/CR/ 625/2022.The Court of Appeal, Abuja Division had fixed the hearing of the appeal for October 11, 2022, but the date has now changed.

Ex-President Jonathan Visits Buhari In Aso Rock

President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday played host to his predecessor, Goodluck Jonathan at the Presidential Villa Abuja, where he reiterated Nigeria’s commitment to promoting peace and harmony among ECOWAS countries. Bandits Fell Into Troops Ambush In Kaduna

The Kaduna State government, said troops of the Nigerian Army have frustrated some bandits along Kaduna-Zaria road and neutralised two of them. The Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, confirmed the development in a statement issued on Wednesday in Kaduna.

Panel Presents Report On Imo Mayhem To Uzodinma

Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has received the report of the Commission of Inquiry into the mayhem which occurred at Izombe, Oguta council area of the state, in October 2021. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that the incident resulted in the death of at least three persons and the burning of many houses.
