BREAKING NEWS: “STOP THE BLAME, I AM NOT THE PROBLEM”, Chelsea FLOP Captain Reece James Caution Chelsea Fans As He Expose Those Behind The Team’s Recent Failures.

We need to kick them out of the club with immediate effect or the join the U21 team

Chelsea captain Reece James has sent an apology to his teammates and supporters after receiving a red card in the 4-1 defeat against Newcastle on Saturday afternoon. Mauricio Pochettino refused to criticise his players for individual mistakes and instead slammed the lack of maturity and energy.

“We didn’t show we were playing for something,” the Chelsea boss said after the full-time whistle. “We are young and have to learn.

“We need to be more solid. Mentally or course. Be ready to compete. I can play football, everyone can, but you have to be ready to compete and today we didn’t.

It is not about me being there [on the touchline] or not. It is about maturity. We have to show energy and capacity to compete. The big teams perform every week, every three days in this way.

“It was so frustrating. It was really tough. I could not show my emotion. I am very disappointed in the performance.

“We were not connected with the game. We scored and it was a moment to go, but the team didn’t have the right energy.”

James was sent off in the second half with Chelsea 3-1 down as the club captain received a second yellow card for pulling Anthony Gordon’s shirt – a silly decision to make after picking up a booking earlier in the game for kicking the ball away. James has now issued an apology to his teammates and Chelsea fans on social media.

I take full responsibility for my red card today, two silly mistakes. Another lesson for me to learn,” the Chelsea captain wrote in a post on Instagram.

“I’d like to apologise to the fans and my teammates. The performance today was far below our standards but this game does not define us!

“We’ve made huge improvements this season against many top teams. We’ll be back next weekend.”

James will now miss the Premier League clash against Brighton next weekend leaving Pochettino with a dilemma in defence. Malo Gusto could return to the starting XI – or Marc Cucurella may swap to right-back with Levi Colwill returning at left-back.
