Breaking new:”Martinelli and Saka are never a Problem to my defense I plan on stopping him because everything Tactically revolve around him” – Pochettino reveal Arsenal star he is planning to cage tomorrow as he warn Arteta to work on Arsenal defence too.

Mauricio Pochettino has explained the dilemma he faces at right-back ahead of Chelsea’s clash against Arsenal this weekend. The Blues will welcome Mikel Arteta’s side to Stamford Bridge on Saturday afternoon in what is expected to be a fiery affair.

Chelsea head into the tie off the back of an impressive 4-1 win against Burnley just before the international break. While the west Londoners snatched three-points from Vincent Kompany’s newly-promoted side, the Gunners stormed past the reigning Premier League champions Manchester City.

Arsenal have enjoyed an unbeaten start to the English top-flight, dropping points in draws with only Tottenham and Fulham. If Chelsea are to bring their rival’s record to an end, Pochettino will need his right-back to keep Gabriel Martinelli quiet on the left-wing.

In the absence of Malo Gusto duo to suspension and Reece James through injury, Marc Cucurella has filled in on his opposite flank. The Spaniard has impressed, however both the Frenchman and the Englishman could both be available for selection again.

Ahead of Chelsea’s clash against Arsenal, Pochettino revealed that there is a ‘possibility’ Gusto starts. The 51-year-old said: “You ask me about a player that in the last month didn’t play because he was sent off and played with the national team in France.

“He’s really young but a great talent, maybe tomorrow has the possibility to play. I think it’s difficult to judge because 19 years old, came from a different league in France and he needs to adapt to a new club like Chelsea whose history is about winning.

“A project with very young players, with these circumstances always is tough. I am so happy because we really believe in him, for sure he needs time but I think he is going to perform in a way we really believe.

“He is only 19 years old but I am so happy – I was not happy when he got sent off, I think wasn’t red card, when after you see the decision of VAR, I think it’s crazy. He is going to be good for the club for sure.”

Then, later in his press conference Pochettino was asked for an update on James – and he didn’t exactly rule out the chances of him starting either. The former Tottenham boss said: “He was training well the last few days. I think it’s now to talk with the medical staff and to decide if he can be part of the squad tomorrow.”
