A Nigerian actress Nse Ikpe-Etim who was born on the 21st of October
She started her academic pursuits at Awa Nursery School and Command Primary School in Kaduna State, then continued her studies at Louis College, Jos, and the Federal Government Colleges in Jos and Ilorin. From a report, she said her family was often transferred to various regions of the country due to the nature of her Dad’s job with the central bank of Nigeria. She bagged her first degree in Theater Arts from the University of Calabar.
Personal life
Etim happens to be the first child among six children. She got married to Clifford Sule who happens to be her childhood friend. A traditional wedding followed in her hometown in Akwa Ibom state and in Lagos state where she had a Court wedding on 14 February 2013. She recently resides in London with her husband who is a senior lecturer at Middlesex University but visits Nigeria frequently for movie acting purposes.
On 20 March 2020, she posted on her Instagram page that she had just returned to Nigeria from London, one of the places that are well hit by the covid 19 virus, according to the Federal ministry of health. She however had to obey the directives of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control(NCDC) to quarantine herself for some time.
Career
At the very young age of 18, Etim had begun acting on stage at the university. Her first media appearance was in the family soap Inheritance. After she had graduated from the university, she left the film industry for a while to venture into other things of interest before making a comeback with Emem Isong’s Reloaded alongside Ramsey Nouah, Rita Dominic, Ini Edo and Desmond Elliot. Which skyrocketed her acting career to the limelight of fame.
In December 2019, Nse Etim was featured in the Visual Collaborative Polaris catalogue, under the Supernova series for humanities, she was interviewed alongside people such as William Coupon, Bisila Bokoko and Ade Adekola.
