Late Queen Elizabeth II To Be Buried 19th September
The British Royal Family has announced the burial date of late Queen Elizabeth, her burial is slated to hold on the 19th of September. Queen Elizabeth is the longest and oldest serving British Monarch and she died at her scottish home in Balmoral at the age of 96, she reigned 70 years in throne. The Royal Family announced it on their official Twitter handle, the Royal Family said her burial would take place in Westminster Abbey on the 19th of September which is Monday.
Prior to her burial, her body would be displayed in Westminster Abbey hall to allow well-wishers to pay their last respects. In another development, the British high Commissioner to Nigeria whose name is Catriona Laing said that starting from 11th of September, flags on UK Government buildings around the world would be raised to signify the ascension of King Charles to the throne. The flags would later be returned to half mast on the burial day of the Queen by 8am.
