Simon Ekpa attacks Emma Powerful over militants behind southeast killings
Simon Ekpa, a self-styled disciple of the detained leader of the outlawed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, has lambasted the group’s media and publicity secretary who deploys the pseudonym, Emma Powerful.
POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Powerful had on Tuesday released the names of Ebubeagu vigilante group members allegedly terrorising and killing innocent citizens of Imo State and the South-East.
He listed the Ebubeagu members who are allegedly behind the killings in Orlu area of Imo State as: Chibuike Igwe, Paul Udenwa From Amaifeke Orlu, Okwudili Dim (aka) One Nigeria, the man called Sky from Umutanze Orlu and the man called 2men from Umuna in Orlu.
Reacting, diaspora-based Ekpa asked the public to disregard Powerful’s list, saying “nothing credible can come from such faceless person”.
“My attention has been drawn to a press release by one Emma Powerful where names of Igbo youths were listed as those behind insecurity in the SE. Please, disregard any report from a faceless criminal, my experience so far suggest nothing credible can come from such faceless person.
“The faceless criminal without identity has committed crime against humanity as he continue to list Biafrans that have issues with them as criminals. We can’t allow such to continue to happen going forward, they’ve target [sic], murdered our youths unchecked time to stop them is now,” Ekpa wrote on his known Twitter handle.
