2023: UDOM BARS PDP FROM SELLING FORMS TO AKWA IBOM ASPIRANTS.
Information reaching us this morning from Abuja has it that Governor Udom Emmanuel is desperate in his bid to foist Pastor Umo Eno on Akwa Ibomites.
Aspirants From Akwa Ibom State who went to pick their nomination forms from the National Headquarters of the party are shocked that the Governor gave instructions that the party shouldn’t sell forms to any other them except from the State PDP.
Further revelation has it that he paid an undisclosed amount of money as bribe to the National Financial Secretary of the Party who at the moment is here in Akwa Ibom and the man withheld forms with the claims that the Governor has bought all the forms meant for Akwa Ibom.
Governorship Aspirants including Rt Hon Onofiok Luke and other aspirants from the State are presently at the Secretariat and can’t get the forms till now.
It is known that The Governor is afraid of the contenders who are aspiring to succeed him as his preferred candidate hasn’t been able to be accepted by the PDP delegates in Akwa Ibom State hence this action of his out of frustration.
At the moment, it is only Rt Hon Michael Enyong who has purchased the Nomination forms.
