THE BUHARI AGRICULTURAL REVOLUTION HAS PRODUCED BUMPER HARVESTS OF CASSAVA IN AKWA IBOM STATE!
Do you know that a group of 475 women who have embarked on massive cassava farming, and who have consequently been assisted materially and financially by the Buhari administration through NIRSAL, have just recorded bumper harvests as a result of the assistance they received from the administration?
The women, whose operational base is in Oruk Anam LGA in Akwa Ibom State, have developed an Agro Geo-Cooperative Society through which they received cash grants, materials and short trainings from NIRSAL Plc last year, have seen the fruits of this assistance grow in leaps and bounds, with an even better guarantee that it will continue to grow.
With this positive report, and with the increased possibility of continuous growth in the cassava value chain that this development will portend in the sector, it can be confidently said that the Buhari administration’s investment in the agricultural sector is surely on track to diversify the economy.
