13 Prominent Politicians, Who Attended Last Night Meeting Where Wike Camp Insisted That Ayu Must Go
The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, members in the camp of Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State have reportedly officially announced their withdrawal from the party’s Presidential Campaign Council for the upcoming 2023 general elections, according to news that was reported by the Channels Television News this morning.

According to information provided by Channels, the group revealed its position following a lengthy meeting that took place at Governor Nyesom Wike’s Port Harcourt private residence from around 7 p.m. yesterday until 2 a.m. this morning.

It was revealed that Iyorchia Ayu’s decision to continue serving as the party’s national chairman until the conclusion of his term was the cause of their withdrawal.

It was revealed that the top echelons in the party, who attended the meeting were, Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, the former Governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Mimiko, former governor of Ekiti State, Peter Ayo Fayose, Donald Duke of Cross River State, Ibrahim Dankwambo of Gombe and Jonah Jang of Plateau State, former Attorney General of the Federation, Mohammed Adoke, Chief Olabode George, Professor Jerry Gana, South-South Chairman of the PDP, Dan Orbih, the former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Chibudom Nwuche, Senator Suleiman Nazif and Nnenna Ukeje.
